  • Hatherleigh. This area is in the centre of town, but the town is on a slope so keep going up past the shop and cafe on the left to get there
  • A grand view of Dartmoor from Hatherleigh
  • Hatherleigh Monument, to the fallen at the battle of Blaclava. It's on the left after the climb out of Hatherleigh. Great views of Dartmoor as well
  • A thoughtfully provided picnic table by the junction close to Hatherleigh Monument
  • Botherleigh Moor sign. There are a few of these along the coast to coast, made of granite with metalled decoration, quite striking
